It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Guy Radley, a cornerstone of Metropolitan Forestry Services and the St. Louis landscape community. Guy transitioned peacefully after a courageous multi-year battle with cancer.
For 44 years—beginning in 1982—Guy served as our Landscape Foreman. His hands were responsible for planting tens of thousands of trees, leaving a living legacy that will shade and beautify St. Louis landscapes for generations to come. Beyond his physical work, Guy was a master pruner. He mentored hundreds of professionals, sharing his expertise in pruning and landscaping techniques. His "students" now care for canopies across the region, ensuring his standards of excellence endure.
There is a hole in our hearts, and his absence will be felt forever in our landscapes.
Please join us to honor a life well-lived.
