Daughter of Megan and Joseph Hicks. Sophia was born 6 years ago with a rare syndrome known as Dandy-Walker malformation. This is where the back of the brain never developed (cerebellum) which affects fine/gross motor skills. Sophia does not walk, talk, eat, etc... as a result of this. she as several stemming ailments in turn. She has a hole in her heart, SEVERE scoliosis (needing back surgery in the future), many eye issues (nystagmus, ptosis), tube feeding, etc.

The primary diagnosis causes seizures, as a part of her brain has been damaged.

Sophia has upcoming BRAIN surgery. Mom can not work, as Sophia requires 24-hour special attention care. Dad works but will have to take UNPAID time off from work to help with the care of 6-year-old Sophia and little 4-year-old brother DJ.

We are trying to raise money to offset some of the missed work time and the OUTRAGEOUS cost associated with this HUGE surgery!

Please find it in your hearts to donate what you can- share, like and spread the word for this little beautiful princess. Even a few dollars add up.

hospital stay will be for weeks and recovery is 2 months (with no complications). Please keep Sophia and the family in your thoughts and prayers.
