Throwback Thursday, we designed a full renovation of a 4000sf flat in a beautiful Pacific Heights co-op building several years ago, I just recently found out my clients had sold it to some lucky new homeowners.

Our clients tasked us with designing a bright and comfortable home, keeping a lot of the original detailing but adding modern touches and conveniences. We designed all of the custom cabinetry throughout and were tasked with designing custom bookcases for their extensive book collection and to provide ample showcases for their wonderful art collection. Many thanks to Genevieve Angels Efe for her work on this project.

Recently completed freestanding Accessory Dwelling Unit for our wonderful clients. We previously designed the main house and were brought back to work on the ADU and outdoor kitchen. On a small footprint, this little house provides a bright, voluminous yet cozy guest and entertaining space that seamlessly connects to the outdoors and to the main home.

Amelia recently completed the design for a cozy tasting room at Dakota Shy winery.

Over the years, we have been fortunate to have designed the main tasting room, gazebo lounge and outdoor trellis dining space and outdoor kitchen.

It’s a beautiful winery and we are so thankful for our great clients. Check it out the next time you are in Napa!

Happy to share that one of our new ADUs or Accessory Dwelling Units, has been completed. This one in the Oakland hills and was designed to sit a top an existing garage. The original home was apparently designed by a boat architect after the Oakland hills fire in 1991.
Our clients wanted to create a comfortable space for visiting parents. The design captures the Bay views, abundance of natural light and honors the modern design of the home.

Another of our projects from past is on the market. A challenging little house that was in complete disrepair and on a postage stamp lot. It was a former carriage house for the main house on the corner.

As always, with a great client and contractor to work with, we completely gutted, updated, and expanded to this little gem. It was a marathon with plenty of neighbor and city approval issues but we got it done.
