Working on our bathroom and closet. The jobs always take longer than we hope they will. Illness and dental issues slowed us down. Now, it will be clear sailing ahead, right? 😆 We finished laying the tile a couple of days ago.

We chose these tiles so we could use a dark grout. I don't want light grout. The walls will be a light ivory tan color and maple cabinets have a warm wood finish.

Proof we live in Idaho. 😆 We have gotten a pellet stove. I believe it was in January when we had our heating and cooling...

Proof we live in Idaho. 😆 We have gotten a pellet stove. I believe it was in January when we had our heating and cooling system and ducts replaced. We knew we needed to replace the system and the ducts were in really rough shape. Then our heat pump failed, and we knew it was time. 😊 Instead of a pellet stove, we wanted to install a soap stone masonry heater but we just couldn't bring ourselves to do that. They are very expensive and very heavy. We were able to replace our heating and cooling system, and pay for the pellet stove and installation for what we thought a heating and cooling system would cost, based off a quote from a couple years ago.

We have been working on our bedroom closet and bathroom. Hope to share some pictures soon.

Hey, we're still alive here. 😆 Last year we took some time to just be retired. We did have some large cottonwood trees removed, Jess removed some trees, removed excess soil on both sides of our driveway and added a gravel driveway beside our existing driveway and a place to park our 5th wheel. That included a, much needed, new fence and gate beside our garage.

Our weekend project. We plan to do a complete remodel of this bathroom at some point... But for now, some primer and lef...
