Every family vacation used to start the same way.
I was making the packing list.
Finding the swimsuits.
Checking for pajamas.
Making sure everyone had socks, shoes, chargers, toothbrushes… all while answering, “Mom, what do I pack?”
Then I realized something.
My kids weren’t avoiding responsibility.
They’d never been taught a system.
Now, every trip starts with the same checklist.
Each kid gets their own copy.
They gather what they need.
They check it off.
They pack it themselves.
Do they forget things sometimes?
Absolutely.
But that’s how confidence is built.
Our goal isn’t to pack perfectly.
It’s to raise kids who know how to think ahead, solve problems, and take ownership—one trip at a time.
I turned the exact checklist our family uses into a free printable.
Comment PACK and I’ll send it to you.
Save this for your next family vacation. ✈️🤍
