There is a difference between credibility and integrity.
we can demonstrate credibility all day long on social media platforms like this one. but that doesn't make us experts. I think what people crave is to trust, and when you provide a level of consistency, trust follows.
For those of you who know me and FWL you know that integrity, trust, and follow through are far more important than pretty pictures.
it takes a very short time to show credibility. It takes a very long time to show integrity. as we Approach our 19th year in business I can't tell you how much I value the trust that you put in me and the FWL team

After doing the initial install a few years back, FWL was pleased to do a refresh this summer over at rated Jeune et Jolie in Carlsbad. Affectionately known as Campfire's baby sister, JJ has become a staple for San Diego's gastro-conscious restaurant goers. First Berry harvest this year. The raspberries and blackberries have almost consumed the water tank. Ironically the tank now needs to be supplemented as we have used most of this seasons rain water. Lasted us till June last year, and mid-May this year... not too shabby.

Unexpected moments on projects are always my favorite. It's that view or detail that wasn't necessarily planned. It's shadows, layers or an interplay of materials that just works. Here we had to create a series of retaining walls to increase a bad parking situation at street level. We used a monoculture of Acacia cognata to not make the space too busy. Maiden ferns, Lutescens palms and some aeonium complete the pallete.

Ive got vegetable gardens on the brain lately. I'm excited at the gardens we have in the works this year and especially what i have planned for my garden. I planted garlic and onions and beets and radicchio for the first time this year. Fingers crossed. It's an experiment each time. Thankful for friends like and who keep me inspired and challenged. What are you growing this year? This plot we designed and built in Encinitas is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of rose ... an amazing biodynamic Winery that i suggest visiting in Paso Robles.
