We support the bienelevees project: Developing urban agriculture through saffron cultivation
Our teams have already participated to two workshops since last week, from harvesting to pruning of this sweet red gold. The opportunity to take a behind-the-scenes look at the production of saffron, a multifaceted spice : a flower with an extremely complex olfactory signature, passing in turn through the floral, fruity, edible, spicy, leathery, dry woody facet, up to metallic for some.
