Some plantations such as The Estates in Westbury Park installed cheap, thin walled Bathtubs made in China. These tubs are so weak that a person weighing over 200lbs can easily put a dent into the bottom of the tub resulting in water pooling and sitting in the bottom of the tub and then the tub Rusting out into a Horrible Nightmare- Now, we at Castle Coatings can’t completely stop the Rust, but we can minimize it, and prevent it from coming back for a little while, ultimately Rust is like Cancer, and unless you completely cut it out, it will eventually, slowly creep back in…But Refinishing is the Fastest and least expensive way to fix it! Well this week we did multiple Projects, but I’m always Stoked when we convert a double sink vanity from “Cultered Marble” (which is really acrylic) to a Sprayed on Quartz type of finish!! This is called “Birch Bark” and it has a spec of black and a spec of gray over a white Primer!! Takes one day apply to transform your basic vanity into something Really Special that will upgrade the look of your bathroom from a “6” to a “10”!! At less than half the cost of replacing!!! I have not posted on this page in a while, but decided I will start posting before and after photos of our latest projects. Check this one out! This is a Vanity that was probably built and tiled In an Off Brownish type of Tile that was very popular ten or fifeteen years ago…but looked very out dated today! We refinished it in an Industrial Aerospace epoxy product called “Multi-Stone” in one day! These are the Before and After Photos!
