HISTORY BUZZ: The Champlin Mansion completed in 1939. The original plans for the house called for the use of brick with stone trim. Once learning that Henry Ford had built an entire home out of the trim stone, Mr. Champlin changed the design and the mansion was built all in stone shipped from Ohio.

Our client commissioned us to change out the rear exterior door. Previously, it opened to the outside, without the possibility of having a storm door. We changed to this beautiful pre-hung, in-swing unit and added a storm door with pet access for their sweet puppy. So grateful for the opportunity to work on this beautiful home!

Our Client commissioned us to perform numerous repairs to this gorgeous, late 1990’s house. From replacing and realigning an interior door jam that was cracked, to replacing siding and subsiding on the chimney, each project was an absolute joy to complete. We fixed some cracked finishes in a ceiling and wall, and replaced some brick molding and trim that brought the punch list right up to date. We are grateful for this opportunity to work on such a beautiful home!

Our client wanted to enclose their back patio to make this spacious 16’ x 9’ room. They selected a beautiful 3/4 Lite door and 36” x 72” windows. We installed board and batten siding, with smart trim. The family chose a light, skip troweled texture with a pastel blue paint. We covered the concrete floor with Henry’s Pro Self Leveling underlayment and Rustoleum garage floor clear coat. This project was fun and turned out amazing! So grateful for this build.
