Happy Friday! This afternoon we will be preparing for our set-up at Bates Farm, Home and Garden Inc. tomorrow May 9, 10am-2pm in Enosburg VT.
It is Mothers Day weekend and Bates has the plant nursery fully stocked, what a great opportunity to pick up gardening supplies and chicks at the same time!
We have a few hatchings to choose from and anticipate having jumbo Coturnix quail, Ring-neck pheasant, and an assortment of hatching eggs. We do have heritage poults and black Australorp grow-outs, but probably will do those as pick up from the hatchery only. They travel well, but at their age they are a bit rambunctious during the commute!

Hanging baskets and perennials have arrived!!! And later this week we'll be getting our big shipment of annual flowers and veggies!! Just in time for Mother's Day, plants make great gifts for moms!!

Our greenhouse yard is full!! We have apple, pear and cherry trees, flowering crabs, lilacs, hydrangeas, rhododendrons, roses, forsythias, and berry bushes! They're beautiful and ready for good homes!!
