I am retiring from the physical job of landscape contractor after 35 years as owner of Land Dimensions and LD Nursery and 45 plus years in the industry.

I have loved my job and enjoyed working with so many interesting customers over the years. We have served the NH community with respect to landscape designs, consultations, installs, hydroseeding, hardscaping, property and timber management as well as growing and selling annuals, perennials and trees/shrubs.

It is nice to say that many of my customers have welcomed me as a friend and I feel that I have been part of their family over the years. Too this...it saddens me to leave the field that I so much enjoyed over my lifetime. If you love what you do...you won't work another day in your life...well maybe. I've put in a lot of long hours over the years!

I will continue to do some consultations as needed and a few other projects here and there. My Wife (Lynne) of 40 Years this year and I will be doing some travelling in our Sprinter, building and moving to a new home north of Epsom, enjoying our grandkids and doing some snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, the list goes on. Life is short...I try to enjoy life to the fullest as I always have.

Thank You to each and every one of my customers that I have had the privilege to engage with over the many years. I have learned from you and hopefully you have learned from me!

Spring has Sprung and Landscaping has Begun.

We continue to provide Landscape Services but we are also redirecting some of our efforts toward Landscape Design and Consultation Services. Bruce's 40 plus years in the business, College Degree, and owner of Land Dimensions and LD Greenhouse/Nursery for 34 years leads the way for creating Landscapes with design ideas intuitive to any property.

If you require Driveway Grading, Light excavation and Finish Sitework as well as Lawn Installation and HYDROSEEDING, we are just a phone call away. From the ground up to the finish work including the landscape materials.

So now that Spring is here...Landscape Hint of the week.
It is still a bit cool to be seeding...we need soil temps to be at 55 degrees plus for grass to germinate. The cool temps in the morning, late afternoon and night do not provide a good environment for adequate seed germination. It requires a lot of effort and cost to establish a lawn...why not wait for better conditions?

Anyway happy Spring to all...the Land Dimensions Bear is coming out of his Winter Mode.

Are you out in the yard yet? Why not...great time to get out and enjoy the better weather and feed the black flies. Studies show that gardening and landscaping are therapeutic pastimes and good exersise. it is also easy to "social distance" in your yard!

It's LAWN and HYDROSEEDING SEASON...We have been HYDROSEEDING for 20 years. We spray it and you water it!

For those projects you don't want to handle or if you need professional advise and a plan or just would like a quote on doing some work...GIVE ME...BRUCE a call. 736-9532. I've been here for 33 years.

We have some local SCREENED FARM LOAM for your lawn and garden needs as well as mulch for your beds.

We are still growing some perennials here for sale and my own jobs and we are starting our "sustainable garden" in the small greenhouse in the front yard for our own consumption.

Tip of the week: Its lawn planting time...the soil temperatures are getting up to 55 degrees which is important for seed germination. Also remember that "annual" grass seed is only here until fall when it dies..."perennial" is forever! You get what you pay for.

The season is here...SPRING and time for LANDSCAPING.
We have mulch for your plant beds and loam for your GARDEN and LAWN. We have the knowhow on what to do and how to do it...33 years in Business this year in the same Town!

So since Spring has sprung
and landscaping has begun;
getting outside is healthy and fun.

Stay healthy and away from the virus
our world now feels like a circus.
Since social distancing in now the recommendation
so snuggle up to a plant for some safe fraternization!

Helpful tip of the week: It is still a bit early to be seeding your lawn. Grass needs soil temperatures of 55 degrees to germinate and althought they may warm up in the middle of the day, there is still to many hours of cooler temps to really get things going still. Also plant Perennial grass...it is here to stay versus Annual grass which is only hear for 1 season. The more you pay the better the quality of the seed is!

Time to come out of hibernation and now have to deal with this Corona Virus.

WE HAVE TAKE-OUT...LOAM AND MULCH THAT IS...WE CAN DELIVER TO YOUR YARD OR BUSNIESS once they de-post the weight limit on the local roads.

We are scheduling work and we work outside away from people anyway...the plants and I have always had a special realationship. I can get up front and personal with my plants but I will keep my profesional/social/medical distance from my customers and potential customers...don't take it personal.

I know a lot of people can do some of the work themselves but you can always have us do the Landscape Design and the earthwork to get you started...If you work with us....we'll work with you.

We can all "work" through this...so if you need some work done: mulch/loam delivered, walls, walkways, hydroseeding, planting, landscape designs, excavation and loader work or your road/driveway graded...

Now that the snow has fallen we are going into semi-hibernation mode with respect to landscaping.

We continue to rent our Cabin in Dorchester, NH if you would like to get away and enjoy the peace and quite of Central NH with some skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, and of course SNOWMOBILING. I can even give you a nice tour of the area.
