Following a successful roof replacement, our team shifted focus to the interior restoration of this stunning home. We meticulously removed the water-damaged plaster ceiling, disposed of compromised insulation, applied professional-grade mold inhibitors, and deployed HEPA air filtration alongside ozone generators to ensure a clean, healthy environment.

Next, we installed premium Havelock Wool insulation—a superior, mold-resistant solution ideal for any residential project. We also framed and insulated a functional attic catwalk for enhanced accessibility.

The transformation continued with the installation of modern recessed can lights, followed by drywall hanging and and Level 5 finishing for the new ceiling. To elevate the space, we crafted a custom accent wall showcasing the home’s striking stone fireplace.

In 2025, Brown Restoration was blessed with a year of significant growth. We were able to TRIPLE our gross sales from 2024, secure more contracts, add talented team members, and build strong relationships with trusted subcontractors and fellow general contractors, allowing us to operate as a full-service construction company for both interior and exterior remodeling, as well as emergency restoration and building.

We are deeply grateful, first to God for His provision, and also to our valued customers who placed their trust in us this year and gave us the opportunity to serve. Your support has made this growth possible and motivates us to keep delivering quality workmanship on every job.

This summer, our team had the privilege of restoring a beautiful Tudor-style home for a wonderful client, one of Erie’s best Realtors, J.P. Hood. The project included extensive exterior updates designed to enhance both durability and curb appeal.

Our scope of work involved residing most of the lower exterior with LP SmartSide siding, complete with Tyvek house wrap and carefully flashed seams for long-lasting water protection. We also removed the outdated aluminum trim border and replaced it with new custom wood trim, perfectly complementing the Tudor architecture.

On the upper level, areas with water damage were re-sided and expertly finished with a stucco-textured match to maintain a seamless appearance. All damaged trim boards were replaced, and the entire home—including siding, trim, and deck—received a fresh, professional paint finish.

To complete the transformation, we demolished the aging deck and built a brand-new one based on the original design, adding both structure and beauty to the outdoor space.

We recently had the opportunity to deliver a comprehensive roofing solution for one of our valued clients who had severe interior damage due to a roof leak. This project featured a full shingle and underlayment replacement, targeted repairs to the sub-roof structure, and enhanced protection throughout critical roof areas.

Our skilled team took special care to reflash the chimney and install an iron apron, while also adding additional step flashing for superior leak prevention. We extended the ice and water shield well past the cricket to ensure reliable water management, adapting our approach since a full rebuild of the cricket structure was not possible due to site constraints.

We're proud to showcase one of our most comprehensive renovation projects to date - a complete first-floor unit transformation that demonstrates our full-service construction capabilities. Our scope of work included complete demolition of the existing space, hanging/finishing drywall, and priming/painting.

Structural improvements included replacing compromised floor joists (termite damage) in the kitchen area and installing new subflooring throughout the kitchen, as well as additional areas of the home. We also installed a new exterior door and eight energy-efficient double hung Pella windows.

Our finish carpentry work encompassed a complete trim installation throughout the entire house, including doorway casings, window trim, and baseboards. The project culminated with the installation of kitchen cabinets, counter-tops, and a sink base for a beautiful kitchen remodel that will be enjoyed for many years to come.
