This kitchen refresh pushed me to new heights!!! But the transformation is truly remarkable!!! What made it challenging?

-50 Heavy, solid oak doors (largest ones weighed almost 20lb each!)
-all arched with tight profiles
-5 glass doors and 2 spindles that were previously coated with an oil base paint, so they had to be fully stripped/sanded down so I could start over!
-Each frame box had 1-3 oak shelves that were attached to the frame and had to be individually painted. I did not count but it was well over 50 shelves.

⭐️ It’s a good thing I love a challenge, and it’s a great thing I had the most wonderful, kind, amazing clients! ⭐️

What do you think? (These aren’t official after photos!) but I couldn’t help but snap a few 🙂

My shop dog, Georgia Mae, who has become extra clingy lately and refuses to move while I’m working! She is HAIRY! hair and paint don’t go well together😄 but she certainly believes she is helping.

From drab to fab in no time, and we're still not done! First, we resized those awkward boxes above the microwave and fridge and added custom crown molding. Next, the old oak doors were replaced with new doors, and the counters got a major facelift (aren't they gorgeous)!!!!

Look at that sticker!!! 1995. These oak doors are getting a makeover! I was 16 when these doors were built and installed. 🙂 They are getting a full grain fill and going soft white. Stay tuned!
