Ken wanted to surprise Amy with this fancy bidet seat for Mother’s Day. She is out of town and I was able to get there today to get the gfci outlet installed as well as get the water supply and seat set up for her return. No easy task running the power from the attic down to behind the toilet.

Brian reached out about adding air conditioning and an easement window that he was told would bring his ADU up to code. Got it done for him in two and a half days. He definitely wanted to overbuild the header above the window to avoid issues with the city. So he got a 2x12 up there!

I had the opportunity to work on this historic fence for my neighbors Eva and Caroline. It required some 4x4 replacement and 2x4 rails. Three days of power washing, four days of prep with paint caulk method I learned years ago. Then another four days of painting with some help from Usman. They have a fence that won’t need to be touched for another twenty years now.

Lori and Steve needed a few things done. Their plumber quoted 300.00 to move the supply lines where they would be behind the new bathroom vanity. For that price I was also able to hang their new towel bars, hooks on the door, light fixture and the new shower head. They were so grateful!

Progress at Marcy’s. Had to fight to get old floor underlay removed so I could use wire lathe underlay underneath the floor tile. This eliminated the transition piece to the wood floor once floor tile was set. Yesterday saw all the wainscoting tile go up. Just need to finish the bottom pieces to the floor tile. New cabinet, toilet, shower door and paint. Should be done by Friday.
I do like that Marcy allowed me to help design this bathroom with her. She was so patient with me at Home Depot while we got things ordered and set for delivery.

It’s been a while since I posted work pics. The end of the year was so busy I forgot to take pictures of work.
Started a full bathroom remodel for Marcy on Monday. Took out tall bathtub and replaced with walk in pan for easier access.
