We were asked a while back if we could match the existing cornice in picture 1 for a job in Kensington?
We were giving a section of the original cast, so from that, we were able to copy it.

The cornice is still not finished as it needs a leaf detail on the front edge, however this is the progress so far.

Yes, I know, it's a hideous horrible looking cornice.

Insurance project in South Kensington completed today!
Match to existing cornice after a leak from a upstairs bathroom was the culprit to having the ceiling totally removed along with the cornice.
We reinstated the cornice from taking sections from the original cornice.
Photo one, you can see where we have cleaned the cornice enrichment plate.
