Did you know that phosphates are algae’s favorite food?

When phosphate levels get too high, algae has an endless buffet waiting for it. One of the best ways to help prevent algae growth is by removing its food source.

About 18 hours ago, Eli treated this pool with a phosphate remover from Orenda Technologies, one of our favorite companies in the industry. The product binds to phosphates and allows them to be captured by the filter, helping starve algae before it can take over.

✨ THE SPARKLE IS BACK, BABY! ✨

Take a look at these before and after photos from a pool we recently serviced. This pool had not been drained in nearly 5 years, and the difference after a drain, tile clean, and acid wash is night and day.

Over time, our Arizona water builds up Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) — minerals, salts, and other materials that slowly build up in your pool water. When TDS gets too high, the water starts to look dull, cloudy, and lifeless, no matter how much chemistry you add.
