I’ve been getting a lot of messages for chunky knit blankets. I’m so sorry if it’s taken me a while to get back to any of you! Life has been crazy with my new bundle of joy, which means I didn’t purchase my stock of yarn, so unfortunately I won’t be selling any for the holiday season. I will let you all know ASAP when I’m back up and running. (With new products as well)🤪🥰
•••What I did want to also post about was the 37 blankets I made while I was hospitalized for 5 weeks and donated to the L&D floor to the local hospitals in honor of Adalie, because of your blanket purchases. Each one I knitted in that hospital bed brought me to tears, knowing that it will be wrapped around a stillborn like my sweet Adalie. Laying there each day not knowing if I will need to be using one for my son, every day we weren’t sure what was going to happen…. Somehow, in all of the odds against him- he made it out in time only needing a days worth of assistance. That experience was one of the hardest challenges I’ve faced, but knitting those blankets each day grounded me. Thank you for bringing families a little bit of comfort when they will need it. I also wrote letters inside most blankets for loss mamas to reach out personally if they need, and those were some of the most raw moments I’ve endured. So THANK YOU for your blanket purchases…… I can’t even put into words how thankful I am for all of your support.
