This kitchen is packed with innovative features, ready for use when you need them and hidden when you don’t.

The design is intentionally restrained to match the clean lines of the original mid-century home. Behind that simplicity is a high level of functionality, with integrated appliances, custom pullouts, and concealed storage. A space that supports how the homeowners cook and live without disrupting the architecture.

Designed for a busy family of four, this kitchen remodel reworked nearly every aspect of how the space functions day to day. A large central island, improved backyard access, integrated storage, and small details like a second sink and shoe cubby help support everything from cooking and homework to muddy backyard adventures. Natural stone, walnut, and schoolhouse lighting were selected to complement the character of the 1924 home while bringing the kitchen into a new era of daily living.

Hard to beat a view like this! 🤩

At Silly Goose Farm, this attic suite was designed to give visitors a place to slow down and connect with the land. The barn doors and furnishings were made from a 300-year-old oak that once stood on the property, tying the space directly back to the farm’s history. Thoughtful features – including a hidden playroom nook for littles – make the space extra memorable for guests. A really fun project to be part of, and a great client to work with.

How cute is this face?! 😍 Some of our favorite moments have nothing to do with construction. Getting to know families over time, and seeing those relationships grow, is part of what makes this work so fulfilling. Happy Friday!

Here’s another project we recently put up on our website. These clients wanted to honor the legacy of the home their father had built by hand while updating it to support their retirement. Inside, the original living room was mostly preserved, and nearly every other space was reimagined.

The outdoor courtyard is now an extension of their living space, designed for gathering, relaxing, and everyday use. The wood screens, gates, and layout balance openness to the surrounding landscape with a sense of privacy. A really nice transformation 🤩

Love this! These clients are avid bikers but also grandparents of little bikers, so we built them a “bike shop" addition off their garage. This was part of a larger whole-house remodel (see our website for the full project). Great project, really great clients.
