The majority of Sponsors residents arrive to their campuses wearing prison-issued clothing and carrying all of their belongings in a plastic bag. Sponsors offers free welcome kits to provide necessities for participants as they begin putting the pieces of their
lives back together.

Thank you Nevada Housing Coalition and AIA Nevada for inviting principal Amanda Donofrio to talk about the Trauma-Informed Design elements of our projects The Commons on MLK and The Nel. With almost 500 people attending this virtual talk, we can say it was the largest group we've been able to share this important work with. What an honor to be a part of this discussion with the other panelists doing impactful work and research.

BDA team members Amanda Donofrio and Kevin Ruhland had the chance to meet Senator Ron Wyden during a visit to Hayden Bridge Landing earlier today. It was great to connect with our former team members from Homes for Good Housing Agency and Meili Construction and hear how the Senator will continue to be a champion for the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program that makes great projects like this one possible. It was also wonderful fun to see how residents are decorating their homes for Halloween!

The team got together last night for some festive fun in advance of Halloween. A huge thanks to a favorite local business Foxbound Flowers for hosting us to carve some pumpkins with our families and fill up on wings, tots, cider and candy.

It was wonderful to be in person this morning to celebrate the completion of The Nel! What a beautiful morning filled with inspiring speeches to mark the occasion of 45 new Permanent Supportive Housing units coming available here in Eugene.
