As many of you have probably (hopefully) seen on the news, Maui just suffered the deadliest fire in US history within the last century.

My wife and her family are from Maui, so this tragedy hits close to home, literally. The devastation and destruction that has occurred is of incomprehensible magnitude.

Corinne, my wife, has been working tirelessly to raise money that is being donated directly to Hawaiian families in need. There are thousands who lost their homes, their jobs, everything. Most escaped with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Several of these families are having to sleep in their cars with their children; a horrific reality to imagine. The death count is rising and over 1,000 people are still missing.

If you’d like to donate to Hawaiian families directly, please consider donating the GoFundMe my wife created. She shares screenshots with donors to show exactly where their donations went.

Cutting Edge will also be donating a consistent percentage of proceeds moving forward to help displaced families.

Good morning, Humboldt! A few days ago, a tree failure occurred and fell into the play area at this daycare in mckinleyville. Today we're here to inspect the health of the neighboring trees, and to do what we need to do in order to ensure this doesn't happen again.
