Turned the old greenhouse into a tunnel arch can't wait for it to be filled with plants! My honey made me the best garden beds today too! There's one on the other side of this and started my new garden section today

My backs been really messed up this week but we're still getting stuff done

First of many carrots 🥕 (yes this variety is meant to be tiny)
Did you know you can eat every part of a carrot even the greens 💚 fresh carrots from the garden are so much better than store bought but don't be afraid of the greens they are even more nutritious and taste really yummy! Also it's fun to harvest you'll never know what your gonna pull up lol

Mulching this weekend can't wait to see it finished! I'll be adding a long tunnel arch that I think will be so pretty

Mulch is important to help keep your soil moist on hot days really helps the plants not get so thirsty

It also decompose into some really great nutritional soil over time

Depending on the mulch you use you really don't want to mix it with the soil but do a layer about 4 to 6 inches deep in the bed not directly touching your plants ( to prevent disease) you can mix it with the soil but it does suck up nitrogen while it's decomposing

You don't want the dyed mulch!!! Just plain mulch less chemicals = better
