I’ve been extremely busy finishing up my last couple classes needed for my bachelors degree (yay I’m graduating!) and of course the cold weather means focusing on keeping the plants safe and happy. Succulents are a great starter plant and make for wonderful projects if you’re wanting to start a succulent garden. Simply choose your pot of choice (I prefer terracotta pots), cactus and succulent potting soil mix, and succulents! Once your succulents are planted, dress up your garden. Add pebbles/gravel, fairy garden decor, or just leave it be! It’s whatever your heart desires. 🪴 ❤️

Just kidding, but these little babies hatched over the weekend and we couldn’t be more thrilled! These chicks are Large Fowl Cochins accompanied by their mystery sibling. Spring is officially here! 🐣 🌷

We’ve been working hard the last couple weekends getting things organized and cleaned up after this way too cold Florida winter 🥶. A lot of the plants were not huge fans of it (and neither were we). We still have plenty to do, but we’re thankful for this warmer weather which = happy plants, which = proppin’ and choppin’ 😁🌱

Begonias can make a great addition to your houseplant collection. Make sure they’re receiving bright indirect light (think a window in your kitchen or bathroom maybe!). They don’t like to dry out in between waterings, so make sure to keep their soil moist, but not sopping wet. 🚿 🌱 They can be a great option for a terrarium project as well. The possibilities are endless!
