Overgrown 20 gallon tank with White Cloud Mountain Minnows of mixed varieties. Lots of random plants but mostly planted with the shortest cultivar of Sagittaria subulata in my possession, Rotala indica, some Vallisneria spiralis that has slightly variegated leaf patterns, as well as the following plants I sourced from Silver Lake here in Everett Washington, Najas flexilis, Ceratophyllum demersum, and Elodea canadensis.

After trimming my mom's 5 gallon filterless aquarium, you can see the snails, shrimp and fish now.

The back of the aquarium has no pumps or filters, only sponge blocking the intake holes and roots of the Epipranum aureum growing up top.

Harvested some Ludwigia 🌿 from my mini ponds outside, will be harvesting more soon. Planted them in my 55 gallon aquarium housing White Cloud Minnows and a couple of Berlin Koi Swordtails. I love how the Vallisneria is filling in the background 😍 by far my favorite plants is that Vallisneria spiralis.

Filterless kitchen counter aquarium with guppies and snails and shrimp photographed March 18th 2022 🐌🌿🦐 I created this setup late December of 2020, originally it was displayed at a potshop I worked at. I love seeing the Anubias finally flowering after about 5 years of growing it in various aquariums, the two little stem like things on the right side of the tank.

Half gallon fish bowl with no filter in the waiting room of High Fidelity Cannabis
Housing six male endler guppy hybrids and ramshorn snails, I had seven guppies in there not long ago but one was more of an in**ed fancy guppy so he did not like the temperature swinging low at night. I attempted to take him home but I killed him by not treating the tap water with chemicals. I had his water sit out for two days but this was not enough to make the water stress free enough for the fish, I wonder what other chemicals are in the water I use. I have not ran into this issue during water changes with this setup because I never do more than a 50% water change with no chemicals, the plants process chemicals in the water for me. I should have used the tank water when taking the guppy home or my own drinking water, a lesson learned.

This aquarium has been growing in for about a year now so it looks very full but I like the messy and wild jungle look. Half gallon nano aquarium with snails and six endler guppy hybrid culls from a colony I've been breeding for a couple years. When you have a properly setup aquarium system and you have lots of plants, the aquarium can clean and process lots of waste and toxic chemicals from the water, even if it is only a half gallon of water. I am experimenting with a couple species of clovers I found as well as moss and grass. This aquarium is about the reach its one year birthday, in a couple months or so, I will have to double check the exact date.
