🍫✨ Trying new things in the kitchen. ✨🍫
While cakes aren't currently part of the menu, that doesn't stop me from practicing and learning whenever I get the chance.
This one started as a three-layer chocolate cake, filled and crumb-coated with salted caramel buttercream before being covered in a rich dark chocolate ganache. From stacking layers to smoothing buttercream and pouring ganache, every cake teaches me something new.
I still have plenty to learn, but I'm happy with how this one came together and wanted to share a little of what I've been working on behind the scenes.
Sometimes the best way to get better at something is to keep showing up and making it again. 💜
