Well, the day finally came… someone decided to contact me about installing one of Seamless’s premium colors. This one is called pine wood, and it just so happens that I have the only machine in the world that can make gutters out of this kind of metal. My custom made gutter machine is one of a kind, and capable of manufacturing 29 gauge gutters. Just a forewarning though to anyone interested, it is not cheap, as these colors are not traditionally available in gutter coil. So it requires a much larger coil to be cut down and that adds a substantial cost to the job. But I’m not gonna lie, the finished product is definitely wow worthy.

I haven’t posted in awhile, but have noticed increased traffic to this page. If you’re coming here looking for gutters, feel free to call me at (907)371-4395 for a free estimate. But going forward I will try to periodically add photos from our installs. Some of the home transformations we have done this year are certainly worthy of the attention. I am just so focused on the installs that I forget to take photos for marketing purposes. It’s an unfortunate side effect of being what essentially amounts to a one man company. Doing the estimates, installs, handling the logistics and then the billing gives me little time to focus on things like “Marketing”.

But I can assure you the quality of my work is the same now as the photos you can find below. Our Zero maintenance gutter systems are second to none and quality will always remain the main focus of my buisness. Just a heads up to anyone looking for gutters. The price of metal just doubled yesterday. So gutter prices going forward will be dramatically higher than they were in the past. I spent today calling customers and changing bids for the first time in the nine years I have been in business. I’d like to say thank you to all of my customers for being so understanding. Each call was a roller coaster as it both hurt me to make the call, but soothed my soul for each customer that met my current plight with understanding. Hopefully all the calls I make tomorrow end similarly.

So, I am posting this as a warning to any potential customers. Be sure to get multiple estimates regardless of who you decide on for your gutters. Due to the drastic price change on lumber, some unethical businesses have used that trend of drastically changing prices to justify a massive price hike in the cost of gutters. Now, while the price of steel has infact increased over the winter, and price changes are necessary, it is no where near as drastic of a change as their new prices want you to believe. I bid a job today for $2,312.00. I was instantly given the job. He said my price was so much lower than the last guy that he found it hard to believe. Now, I always keep my prices lower than my competitors because I do all the installs myself and have a lower overhead. But his expression made me question the market. So I did something I never do and asked if I could see the bid in question. I then almost hurt my self with how hard my jaw dropped. The bid was for $9,343.00... this... is theft in its truest form. Please be sure to check around and make sure your not being taken advantage of. I am not saying to use me for your gutter job, just make sure the price is not being artificially inflated out of greed.

So, for the people who come to look at my business page and wonder; hey where are all of the posts? How do they expect to get new business if they don’t advertise? Well, the answer to those questions is simple. I don’t need to advertise, we are so incredibly busy with work that there is a waiting list for me to install people’s gutters. I am simply writing this post because I keep getting notifications that people viewed the page and didn’t call. I can only assume it is because I don’t keep up with it. That is because I am busy installing the highest quality gutters Fairbanks has ever seen. I have the best product hands down, the best warranty hands down and the best customer service of anyone else in my trade. Well, the home show was an awesome experiance. This was my first year with my own booth and I couldn't be happier with the turn out. So many Amazing people and everyone just proved that I did the right thing starting my business. I am so excited to get back to doing what I Iove.
