I have Dahlia tubers for sale locally!

Below, I list the variety, price and information on the dahlia.
What I have to offer is an individual tuber with one or more eyes showing, not as a "clump of tubers" as some retailers sell. Tubers will come labeled in individual bags w/sawdust. The benefit of purchasing my tubers is that you can start them now and not wait for the company's regional temperature requirements before they ship! I accept cash or card. Thank you so much!

Now is the time to slow down and use what you grew.

Cabbage Potato Pie:
1 AK grown cabbage (cut in half/cored)
2lbs. Alaska grown Potatoes
1/2 C. Cream/milk
2-3 Alaska grown Carrots
1/2-1 C. Alaska grown Peas
1 Alaska grown Onion
4 slices bacon
1/4 C. Cheese (grated)
3 Eggs
1/2 C. Butter
2 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Pepper
1 tsp. Thyme
1 tsp. Alaska grown Oregano

Boil cabbage in halfs or quarters till tender in salted (1 tsp.) water. Remove from pot and cool. Peel/cut potatoes. I used reds and didn’t peel. Boil until soft. Mash with 1/4 C. Butter. Add pre-beaten eggs & cream, 1 tsp. salt, pepper, and cheese. Sauté bacon. Add spices, chopped onion, carrots till tender. Add to mashed potato’s. Butter cast iron skillet and lay out quartered cabbage leaves. Making sure there is an overhang on the pan. You likely will have extra cabbage. Add potato mixture. Fold cabbage leaves back over adding pieces to fill in holes. Dot w/ butter. Bake 350F for 45 min.

Born of the tundra, touched by the midnight sun. The Anenome are in final dry mode before I place the corms in paper bags. I highly recommend growing Anenome! Why? The flowers bloomed all spring/summer and into fall. Now is the time to order corms if interested. I will have some available this spring in addition to these corms.
