I try real hard to be the best and challenge myself to be and do better on every project over the last 20yrs, so at this point I feel like I am pretty good, but I will never stop wanting to achieve perfection.

I am going to be on Route 24 Radio/Facebook station tomorrow morning at 9am giving an update on the courts and reporting on the donations that we have already received and asking for more support from our community, and giving out the information on how to donate if you haven't done so already. I know that we will meet our goal. Help me spread the word and share this post and tune in tomorrow at 9, Thanks

Excited to start this project, been looking forward to it all summer. Restoration, detail oriented, tedious prep, up high, all the stuff nobody wants to do 🤣 I love it and I can't wait to see the finished product. I love helping my town look better 😊

I have had a lot of people ask how to donate to the Dylan and Drew basketball courts at Marsh Park and here it is. Prairie land preservation society is taking in the money for us and putting it in our own account and will keep it there for upgrades and maintenance in the future after we reach out goal or go over budget. So make checks payable to Prairie Lands Foundation and in the memo portion write D2 Basketball courts at Marsh Park. 250.00 is the max deduction you can take on your taxes and get credit for if you file independently, 600.00 if you file jointly, and 2500.00 if you have a business. Prairie Lands will send you a receipt for this as proof to file with your taxes, just include your information (which should be on your checks anyway) but if it is different there is a place on this form to fill out if you print this page out. Don't feel obligated to donate the max if you aren't comfortable with it, we are happy for every dollar we raise. Thank you to everyone that is helping out with this, and this is a community vision.

As a lot of you already know I am trying to raise the funds to build these courts at Marsh Park. Everything is in order except for the money to pay for the materials and labor. There has been great support by the local businesses in Fairbury and Forrest(even though it is not being put in their town, which is amazing 😊) so I would like this to be a community effort to show respect and prove that when a community comes together great things do happen. I encourage everyone to be part of this vision and contribute financially anything they feel comfortable with. Don't think we couldn't use a 5 dollar donation because be can, every dollar counts. Prairie land preservation society has been kind enough to handle the money for us and set up our own fund for the park. Checks are to be made out to them, and in the memo portion please write "D2 basketball courts at Marsh Park" so the funds go into the correct account (they manage many great causes). I have brochures and I will bring them to you if needed. I will have some at city hall in Fairbury available on Wednesday the 23rd and the city is also collecting the donations there so you don't even have to buy a stamp. All donations are tax deductible and if you hit the 250.00 max deduction for one person or 600.00 filing jointly or 2500.00 max business write off. Prairie land will send you the receipt for your taxes for proof to the IRS. Thank you all who came out and showed support at the Fair this weekend, and please share this and spread the word. The mayor told me when we start getting close to our goal they will start digging 😉 Again if anyone has any questions text me because I don't answer my phone 815 992 9159 and thank you in advance 😊
