Diamond Certified Expert Tip: If you have a leaky roof, it's important to act quickly and cover the affected section with plastic or a tarp. Put buckets under the drips and mop up the floor. If the ceiling starts to sag, relieve pressure by using a screwdriver to poke a hole in the sheetrock at its lowest point. Mark the spot with tape so the exact location can be found later when your roofer assesses the damage.

Diamond Certified Expert Tip: When you're trying to sell your home, remember to remove personal items such as photographs and family heirlooms. You want potential buyers to see themselves living in the home, and the presence of your personal items can complicate that. Potential buyers will also open cabinets and closets, so make sure you organize and clean behind closed doors.

Diamond Certified Expert Tip: Making a minimum payment toward your debt won't harm your credit score, because credit bureaus still consider it a full monthly payment in their history. However, if you're making minimum payments on a large credit balance, you may not be able to effectively eliminate your debt because of accrued interest. By paying a little more each month, you can prevent your balance from significantly increasing.

Diamond Certified Expert Tip: When looking for a new home to purchase, be sure to factor in the health and safety of the trees on the property before making a final decision. That way, you can often avoid costly problems like tree removal and root encroachment. Tell-tale signs of a tree's unhealthiness include deadwood and blank spots with no foliage, off-color leaves, insect infestations and oozing areas on the trunk.

Diamond Certified Expert Tip: When comparing limousine companies, make sure you clearly understand their pricing structuressome companies set prices by the hour, while others determine their rates by distance and length of service. Also, confirm that the bids you receive will cover all your expectations. Even if a company offers an all-inclusive package, there may be charges for add-ons that aren't included in the base price.
