The native plants in our nursery are looking amazing, and are ready for their new homes! The CNPS Jepson online native plant sale opens this Monday, September 14th (Saturday, September 12th for Jepson chapter members). 🪴🏡

Looking for some guidance on what will do best in your yard? Our in-person sale will take place on Saturday, September 26th from 10AM-2PM at the Benicia Presbyterian Church. We are happy to answer any questions you may have, and help you pick out the perfect plant! 😁

Fall Native Plant Sale Sept. 26 - Order Online Sept. 14-20

Help support Solano County's biodiversity - grow native plants!

Fall is the best time to plant, so mark your calendars now for our native plant sale on Saturday, September 26th! Hosted by the Willis Linn Jepson Chapter of the California Native Plant Society, which represents Solano County, the sale will be held at 1400 East 2nd Street in Benicia, from 10 am - 2 pm.

Pre-order plants from our chapter website Sept. 14-20, or shop in-person on Sept. 26th and get help from our members choosing plants for your space. A list of species available during the pre-order sale will be posted soon at https://www.cnps.org/chapters/jepson.

All plants are nurtured by volunteers at our nursery in Vallejo, and proceeds help fund the nursery and other chapter activities that promote California native plants.

Join community scientists across California in a new Biodiversity in Urban Gardens (BUG) statewide study of native plants and the wildlife they support. Your observations of native bees, birds, butterflies, and other wildlife interacting with native plants will provide much-needed on-the-ground data about the relationship between native plants and wildlife and help all of us better advocate for biodiversity in urban areas.

Please join us for a nature hike at Patwino Worrtla Kodoi Dihi Open Space Park. Located among the ridges that overlook the Suisun Valley, is a 1,500-acre park featuring stands of blue and live oak, chaparral landscapes, and stunning views from its ridges. The hike will begin on the .6-mile accessible loop trail. We will continue on for those interested in an approximate two-mile hike that will include moderate uphill and downhill trails. The hike will be led by Pam Muick, CNPS Jepson Chapter President.
