Removed original stairs that were not up to code and a bit of a challenge for this customer. Boxed in some triple tread low rise steps with individually cut risers and added a couple wide and sturdy hand rails while the family was gone taking care of each other. It’s nice to see these types of texts! A feeing of accomplishment when completing even the smallest of projects. Thanks for your business and it should make life a little easier!

Customer had his drywall hanging already. They didnt do a bad job and I gave some pointers for their next project…. The more knowledge we share with others the smoother things flow. Was thankful to spend last week indoors mudding and finishing out this massive room. 10 foot ceilings and my shoulders had a love hate relationship this past week. Thanks for the business!

This prolonged period of extreme cold is expected to persist for the foreseeable future. To mitigate potential issues, consider the following precautions: allow your faucets to drip if you have a crawl space or if pipes are situated along exterior walls, keep lower cabinet doors open at plumbing access points to maintain warmth, and insulate outdoor faucets with towels if specialized covers are not available. Make sure your meter cover is in place. Additionally, seal crawl space vents with cardboard cutouts or other materials to block wind, apply cooking oil to garage door seals to prevent sticking, and lubricate house door locks with oil or WD40 to prevent freezing. Hang blankets in unused rooms lacking doors, and close heat vents in unoccupied rooms without plumbing or thermostats to conserve energy. Although challenging, rest assured that spring will arrive. Doing some HVAC repair for some good customers. Trying to squeeze the last few seasons out of this one. I don’t mind spending someone else’s money but there’s no reason to replace a whole unit without any diagnostic testing. Few bucks in parts and labor.
