Another deck I fixed up, another happy customer

I went out to fix a sagging deck and replace it's decking today. After pulling up a few deck boards I saw that the joists were wiggling under me as I pried the boards up. Turns out the nails holding the frame together have rusted away completely and it's just the crumbly old trex holding this whole thing up...

I took the rest of the decking off from underneath and the side. I shook the joists out with one hand after the decking was off.

Today's project! I took a wall out of this house a while back as part of a bigger project. One side of the wall had nice hardwood flooring, and on the other side was a bare concrete slab. I loosened up the old end planks of the edge-glued hardwood floor with a heat gun and gently pulled them out. I scraped out the old glue then started weaving in new planks to match the old ones and extend the floor about 12 more feet. More pics to come when I finish the room!
