Our Story

We are a local, full service, custom window treatment design company. We have combined "the best of the best" in this industry, from sales to installation. It all began over 28 years ago in Saraland, Alabama with Alvin and Fara Middleton’s dream to provide quality linens at reasonable prices. That Dream was made into reality and Linen Locker was born. Eventually Alvin and Fara became a Certified Hunter Douglas Gallery and incorporated the highest quality window treatments in with their successful linen and bedding store to bring the full home décor experience to their clients. Linen Locker where we are “All About The Windows” grew and maintained a very successful business at the original Saraland location and eventually decided to spread their wings and open a location on Cottage Hill Road in Mobile. They operated both locations for several years with wild success. As the clientele and dedication grew, Alvin and Fara decided to add some new faces to the existing crew they have had for years. The people that were brought on were seasoned vets in the window treatment business and hit the floor running! Sales and Design Expert Christine Thompson who began her journey in the business in 2003 at a local shutter manufacturing plant building window treatments from beginning to end, then moving on to a local window treatment dealer in 2005 and began installing blinds, shades and shutters throughout Mobile and Baldwin County for the next 10 years. While at this company, she was trained to install virtually any window treatment by the best installers in the business who had already made a name for themselves. In 2015 she joins All About The Windows as a Sales and Design Expert who needless to say has trained and mastered all facets of this business. With her she proudly brought her Installation mentor’s and together again, they continue to knock the socks off the competitor’s installation crews. Our Installers were trained and certified to be window treatment installers, THIS IS THEIR CAREER.

Here we grow again! We have opened up a smaller showroom in beautiful downtown Fairhope, Al to be used as a meeting space for all of our Baldwin County clients. We have the absolute BEST staff in the business and because we have all known and worked together for years, we also have a true dedication to the business, the client and each other. Our leadership, knowledge, loyalty and friendship is what makes us the best of the best in this industry and our company what it is today.
