The fall color on Northern Empress Japanese elm is outstanding. This nearly seedless, highly dutch elm disease resistant, fast growing medium sized tree (30'-35' tall by 20'-25' wide), zone 3 hardy, NDSU release is definitely a winner!

Fall is my favorite time to plant. Rather than having to take care of them through all of the summer heat a fall planted tree takes less care, less water, and has a much better start in the spring. A fall planted tree will be twice the tree next fall than a tree planted next spring.

Straw bales are $5 each, and the best part—$1 from every straw bale sold will be donated to the Chahinkapa Zoo!

Bales are approximately 18" x 12" and are perfect for fall decorating, porch displays, or adding a festive touch to your home or business.
