Got called in to finish this one after something happened with the prior contractor. We discussed the urine stains with the decision maker, convinced them to go dark and viola!

New install in the kitchen and sand existing. The challenge was getting the old growth floor that had oil base poly with considerable sun exposure to appear like the new. It’s jobs like this that keep me falling in love with this trade!

Throwback Thursday! Looking back to this gorgeous floor composed of character and clear white and red oak mix, plugged butt joints. We drilled and installed over 4000 walnut plugs on this job to match the previously existing historical floors in this amazing castle house that were unfortunately destroyed in a flood. We got you though.

Getting ready to lay the final coat on this absolutely stunning old growth red oak. Its rare that we see such beautifully figured old growth such as this so we had to stop and take it all in every step of the process. Spice brown stain with loba on top.
