These windy storms recently sure have us thinking about pruning! Once leaves develop in the spring, limbs that may have had adequate house clearance before may begin to sag- remember, a squirrel will happily make a 6ft jump to from a limb to your roof to search for a place to make their home!

Meet the Monkeys, part 2!

Currently in their 4th year with the Monkeys, Quinn McMullan! After growing up in Ashevile, Quinn studied Forestry at the University of Vermont, where they competed on the Timber Sports team. Quinn continued in the industry as a trail builder, quickly becoming the crew lead at a young age. Quinn confidently progressed into a climbing role for the Monkeys and handles all of in-house mechanic work. The dude does not stop- when they’re not working with the Monkeys, Quinn can be found saw milling, developing their Black Mountain homestead, or studying for the arborist exam!

Meet the Monkeys!

Starting with the newest member of our team, Hendersonville native- Jacob Levitt! Jacob started on our team just after Hurricane Helene, and currently fills the groundsman/ operator role. Dependable as they come, Jacob shows up early, eager, and has YET to miss a day of action! On the weekends, you may find Jacob with his dog, Rosie, on some local trails near you (ask him about trees, he’s excited to tell you 🙂
