This was completed just before christmas. Opened up 16' of wall to make this space huge. They made it their large dinning room for christmas dinner. Notice the floor is still to be finished. I cut birch plywood at 45 degree angles for all post and headers. Then I installed special decorative trim. The hard part... had to move 2 electrical switches, 2 vacuum pipes and 2 electrical turn on for vac, cable tv, cold air return, thermostat. Everything except plumbing.

This is the upper floor from my first album, that shows a commercial office renovation. Once again, a salon was converted to a internet consulting firm. This was finished a little over a year later from the lower area, this remodel involved, taking out sinks, plumbing renovations, electrical upgrades to code, painting, bathroom renovation and trim work.

Unfortunately this family's old system was installed incorrectly. They had a cheap flimsy pipe going out. Their pump wasn't able to push water out due to it being too small. And they didn't have a check valve, so all the water came right back into the pit after the pump would shut off. It would run continuos during a rain. Here is their new efficient system. No more flooding!

You know "CSI Miami"? Ok this is nothing like that.... This is an example of a road trip for a client in MIami. These are the projects or punch list that needed attention. I repaired it all in one day. I drove down from West Palm Beach 2 1/2 hours each way. And by the way google maps, made me late. I had to really hustle to complete everything. The end result, they were very satisfied. Sorry I didn't have anytime to take after pics but I made it back at 10pm.

This commercial job was a problem that existed since the building was built two years prior. The door leaked, water came in and soaked the rug. They had numerous repair people come out. Professional door installers, Construction company foreman etc. They were about to tear the entire door and slab out and start over. I came in. Fixed slab by resurfacing and slanting it away from the building. Sealed the gap between door and slab. Readjusted the door and sealed. Tore out the bushes which caused a pool every time it rained and cut a hole in the curb to allow the flooding to come out of the dirt pool. Problem solved. Saved them tens of thousands.
