Cold day , no installs for us today but if you have new flooring going in make sure they acclimate for a few days .
Failure is greatly reduced if not eliminated with acclimation !!!! Yes even carpet !

This is why I don't like laminate , this was the wrong application and because of the cheap price of some laminates people don't listen and end up wasting money. Should have used an LVT . This floor is all done

This is what you get when you by Carpet from Con Artist with slick TV ads and make believe deals ...poorly installed carpet, I was called in to fix and Re- install,they paid top dollar for low end carpet and lousy installation and wouldn't come back to fix
Beware ,be smart ,buy Local with Local ties .

I think I've read enough about the types of carpet backing for one day , from Jute , U reflex and everything in between I'm exhausted There is so much more to carpet than anyone can imagine , it's unreal
