Meet Alice! Would you believe me, If i told you that she just finished her last day of chemotherapy two days ago.



It’s unimaginable how life can change so suddenly without warning.



One minute you’re running a business, working out every day, and traveling the world and the following week you’re being cooked alive with radiation.



One day while washing up, Alice felt some abnormalities on her breast. She thought nothing of it. But to be safe she decided to get it checked out anyway.



After some further testing, Alice became a statistic. According to the latest research available, about 1 in 8 U.S. women will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime.



Alice was in disbelief. No one in her family had ever been diagnosed with breast cancer before.



Once she was able to process everything, she was devastated but she was relieved that doctors caught it early.



Alice says she’s wouldn’t wish this disease on her worst enemy.



She had to undergo 20 chemotherapy treatments, 19 radiation treatments and 2 surgeries to top it all off.



And not to mention all side effects that follow.



But as soon as she was cleared and done with the radiation treatments, she was eager to return to training.



She went on Facebook and asked for recommendations. A trust worthy friend said “I know a guy, who knows a guy, but that’s if you don’t mind to drive.” Because when you liven in RI, you hate to drive on the highway to get anywhere.



Here we are six months later, and Alice feels like a new person. Alice says returning to training has been the best decision she has made in 2021.



Today she wants to encourage women to regularly exam themselves and to exercise regularly.
