Autumn is a sad time. But even in autumn we can say
Oh charm....
Boring time about late autumn.

Самый лёгкий способ размножения гибридных гибискусов.

Середина лета. Жара. А цветы все также радуют. В июле начинают цвести гибискусы.
Свой гибридный гибискус Starry Starry Night я посадила под грушей в hostas garden, чтобы он меньше страдал от жары. Ему там комфортно, но цветение он начинает немного позже. Когда он зацвел, он был такой красивый и эффектный, что мне очень захотелось размножить его, чтобы у меня было несколько таких красивых кустов. Самый лёгкий способ размножения это семенами. В первый год цветения я сама опылила цветки и на них после цветения образовались семенные коробочки.
В августе, когда коробочки раскрылись, я забрала из них семена и на следующий год рано весной посеяла их в плошку.
Сеянцы хорошо развивались, быстро подросли и в тот же год зацвели. Все растения сохранили сортовые признаки и цветки такие же крупные и красивыe. Поэтому я в этом году сделала видео, может кому-то пригодится этот опыт.

Today, I’ll show you how and when to make cutting for your clematis plant. Here’re some quick tips from the video for my friends who unlike me speaks English well. First, you need pot minimum of 20 cm high. Second, you need soil: little rocks on the bottom of your pot for good drainage, compost, and all purpose sand or mason sand (1-2cm) on top of you compost. Third, you need root stimulator that you can get from your local Lowe’s store or online. You’ll dip the bottom part of your cutting into the root stimulator. In recent years I think we all have become more environmentally conscious. We started to pay attention to words «organic» and “natural“. Organic is not always the best option. There are organic poisons, they are organic, but they are poisons. When you use organic pesticides to kill slugs and other insects that are killing your garden, you also kill bees, butterflies, lady bugs... so here is the natural way, the way I am fighting slugs that found my strawberries. I hope you will try this method. It’s environmentally friendly, cheap, and beneficial for your soil.All you need is clean dry eggshells. Lots of them. So next time you use eggs, wash and put away the dry the eggshells. They do miracles for your garden. When you have a lot, break them up in small pieces, but do not grind them. Then, put them generously around the plants that are being attacked by slugs.Slugs don’t like sharp edges of the eggshells, they will choose something else to eat. Try and let me know!
