Its market day at Marine Park from 11-3pm today! Organic Wheatgrass is back for you to juice, or your pets to enjoy. 👩‍🌾 I’ll also have fresh microgreens, local raw honey, grow-your-own microgreen kits and a small batch of fresh eggs. The summer is back this week! 👩‍🌾🌱 We will be at Marine park, every Thursday from 11-3pm, into October.☀️

For the first time since I started growing microgreens, I took a break for the last six weeks and allowed my grow room to fill up with flower seedlings instead! 🌸Its a busy time where now my grow room is still busting at the seams with seedlings that need to be planted outside and now the microgreens are ready for market this week! I grew a very very small batch for myself, but I definitely missed them. Tomorrow I will have broccoli, kale, radish and sunflower shoots. 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱 I am also stocked up on Grow-your-own microgreen kits, local Raw honey and some mini flower arrangements too. This season I am giving Dahlias the credit they deserve, and much more of my attention and space in my plots. I have lost hundreds over the years trying to winter them over, but that didnt end up so well! So, I have been babying my dahlia tubers, and I’m only planting out the ones that have already sprouted. 🌱As a very small farm, each planting space matters and I dont want to waste the time or space waiting to see if they are viable tubers. Especially since I had less than perfect winter storage of my tubers and they looked a bit rough and lost some more! I also wanted to make more plants (and I didnt have the budget to buy more tubers), so I have taken cuttings from the sprouted tubers. So far I made 50 more…but I did this a bit late, so they are staying protected in the grow room til they get a bit more sturdy! When Its time to pinch them, I am going to keep those cuttings also. Hopefully, this headstart will get blooms a bit earlier too. 🌸

I think mom really wants locally grown, pesticide-free flowers, in a beautiful mug for Mother’s Day…just sayin. 🌷When the flowers stop blooming, she then can have some tea with Falmouth RAW honey in it.🍯 Its a bit habit forming…just to warn you!

I’m excited to be at this weekend on Saturday and Sunday from 9-12pm. Bring Mom down for some goodies and fresh brew. ☕️👩‍🌾🌸❤️🐓😊🍯 ❤️

What Mom really wants for Mother’s Day Weekend! Local flowers grown without pesticides in a beautiful mug! When the flowers are expired, she can then enjoy some tea in the mug with Falmouth RAW Honey 🍯.
