Each summer, Midtown changes our logo to purple in honor and remembrance of Rowan Bush, the beloved daughter of Midtown partner Jay Bush and his wife Lea. Purple was Rowan’s favorite color, and this tradition continues to be a meaningful way for us to celebrate her life and the lasting impact she continues to have on those who knew and loved her.
This year feels especially significant, as Rowan would have been graduating from Ole Miss alongside many students beginning their next chapter. Through the Rowan Bush Memorial Endowed Scholarship with the Frisco Education Foundation, Rowan’s legacy continues to live on by supporting graduating seniors who share her love of dance as they pursue their college journeys. We are grateful for the scholarship recipients who now carry a small part of her story forward and for everyone whose donations continue to make the scholarship possible each year. A link to donate to the fund can be found in our bio.
Rowan is remembered for her kindness, her spark, and her joy. We continue to hold the Bush family close in our hearts and are thankful for everyone who helps keep Rowan’s memory alive through their continued love and support.
