It’s yall! All week long, we’ll be highlighting plants we love as part of the campaign to amplify our native plants. For , I want to highlight native grasses such as muhly and bluestem. Grasses like these are not only drought and heat tolerant, they are also vital larval hosts for butterflies and produce seeds for winter food for birds. Plus look how beautiful they usher fall in!
