Welcoming our new Chef, Janice Mann! 👩‍🍳 🎉 We are so excited to introduce Janice as the newest addition to our team here at The Bridge. Janice is a proud Farmington resident and, above all, most proud to be a mom to her 2 amazing daughters, ages 18 and 8. 💕

Janice's culinary journey is nothing short of impressive. She trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Scottsdale, AZ, as well as Johnson & Wales University, and brings extensive experience from working at the acclaimed Roaring Fork, a 5-star restaurant in Scottsdale, where she served as a pastry chef. 🌟 You may also recognize her from her time at Northern Edge Casino, where she shared her passion for food with our community.

When she’s not in the kitchen, Janice is a talented designer who creates beautiful Native American clothing and has designed for Miss Navajo Nation! 🧵 We are so honored to have her talent, creativity, and heart at The Bridge. Please join us in giving Janice a warm welcome! ❤️

🔥 Safety First at The Bridge! 🔥

Every year, our entire team at The Bridge Assisted Living participates in hands-on fire and safety training — and yesterday was no exception! 🧯 A big thank-you to Jensen Hughes and our amazing trainer, Howard Sexton, for leading us through such an informative and practical session.

From fire prevention to hands-on response techniques, we were trained in all things fire safety — including how to properly respond in emergency situations if someone were ever in danger. We are proud to work for a company that takes the safety of our building and, most importantly, our residents so seriously. ❤️

As you can see from the photos, this training was not only educational but incredibly valuable in helping us stay prepared and confident. Thank you! 👏

🇺🇸 Yesterday was filled with smiles, laughter, patriotism, and sweet treats! Our staff and residents showed their spirit by wearing red, white, and blue as we honored and remembered the brave men and women who sacrificed for our freedom. 🫡

🎵 We were also blessed with an amazing concert from the talented Zia Chicks who brought so much joy and energy to our day! And a special thank-you to Gwen for making a delicious Tw***ie snack that everyone loved! 😋

Last weekend, we enjoyed listening to music from the Willow Blue Trio outside. 🎶🪕☀️🌳 Such beautiful weather calls for our residents to spend as much time outside as as possible. ☺️ And, we also took a trip to the casino!

🚒 Thank you, EMS Heroes! 🚑 This week, we were honored to celebrate the amazing EMS workers of San Juan County with a special drive-through breakfast here at The Bridge at Farmington. It was such a great morning. Our guests were able to swing by and grab breakfast burritos, fresh fruit, juice, and coffee to-go! 🌯🍊☕ We loved seeing several Farmington NM Firefighters and Farmington Police Department - New Mexico officers stop by, along with teams from AIT Ambulance, San Juan Regional Medical Center Ambulance, and Animal Control. To all of our EMS professionals—thank you for everything you do for our community throughout the year. Your dedication, compassion, and quick response truly make a difference every single day. ❤️ We are so grateful we could give back, even in a small way, with this breakfast! ☺️

We had a wonderful outing to the Aztec Museum & Pioneer Village in Aztec, NM. 🏜️They have this amazing exhibit featuring a wood carving of the southwest, which debuted in 2015. Valenty Zaharek's "Pecos West" features over 100 handmade woodcarvings of people, animals, plants, buildings, vehicles, and the high mesa mountains of the Desert Southwest . The cyclorama measures eighteen feet in diameter and slowly rotates as old west cowboy music plays in the background. 🐎🌵

✨ Look what our new chef Mark Cavalli has been cooking up! 🍽️✨

Our team has been hard at work creating some delicious new dinner options, and we couldn’t wait to share them with you:

🥘 Hunter’s Chicken – tender chicken breast with cheese & bacon over lemon rice, topped with tomato sauce and finished with herb-roasted tomatoes.
🍤 Lemon Garlic Shrimp – served over spaghetti in a creamy lemon garlic sauce, accented with peas and bacon.
🥩 Pork Chop Osso Buco – braised pork with wine, herbs, tomatoes, and mirepoix, served over green chili mashed potatoes.

These meals are as amazing as they sound — and even better to taste! 😋 💬 Come join us for dinner sometime… we think you’ll truly enjoy it!

🚐 We enjoyed a fun outing to the historic Aztec Museum & Pioneer Village, where residents explored charming replicas and pieces of the town's rich history. 🏠

It was such a neat experience stepping back in time together, sharing stories, laughter, and learning along the way. After our visit, we headed to 550 Pizzeria for some delicious pizza and great company! 🍕
