Join and at this year's Block Party on March 19th. Architects and designers across Portland, OR will be taking a Pioneer Millworks timber cut and turning it into a work of art. Blocks are then auctioned off at the event with proceeds going to (Children's Healing Art Project). This local to Portland non-profit is "dedicated to bringing the healing power of art to children and families facing medical challenges." Block Party is a chance to celebrate creativity in the community, mingle with designers of all kinds, and raise money for a great cause -- see you there!

In collaboration with Nova ExoClad, Pioneer Millworks now offers a concealed fastener rainscreen system designed specifically for our exceptionally stable Accoya and Abodo cladding and available in an array of finishes including our Shou Sugi Ban.

Here, our precision-milled Accoya Cocoa is installed at the Joseph P. Mack '55 Catholic Center engaged with the durable Nova ExoClad nylon clip that is attached directly to the structure — creating a clean, uninterrupted wood façade with no visible fasteners.

Checking in on our Settler's Plank which is still looking fantastic . We carefully skip plane our Settlers’ Plank material so that at least 50% of the overall surface has remnants of original saw marks and patina. Ranging from rough, dark original texture to smooth and bright grain, this grade is durable, rich in character and perfect for accent walls.
