These homeowners wanted to be able to step into a country paradise without having to leave the comfort of there city neighborhood. From the reaction to the remodel I guess we hit the nail on the head. For the cost some company’s wanted just for the windows we transformed this entire space into a year round usable space.

Can you spot the not?? As in was not a window contractor... Someone else started this window project that thought they could do it but fortunately for the homeowner he didn’t get them all done. Now they have a side by side comparison of what they could have received if done right the first time.

Sometimes the jobs not about the money....sometimes it is more than just a preservation project. The man standing on this porch built the original one himself several decades ago. We deconstructed the original and salvage everything that could be repurposed. Then by installing a new composite surface it has eliminated a lot of the maintenance issues with the original wood. This project was more about renewing the memory’s that had been made on that porch in the years past and providing a safe surface with solid rail to start making some more.

New windows completely changed the look of this home and the difference it made to there electric bill was astounding. The ac ran half as much after making this much needed upgrade.

A simple and clean preservation job here. The rotted header that was suppose to be keeping up this covered porch was no longer sound. This roof would have certainly collapsed with the added weight of a snow fall this winter. But now Santa will be able to park his sleigh and all of the reindeer this winter without worry.
