I replaced the stair treads with Trex decking to give the benefits of modern composite in the area most prone to wear and weather damage, and power washed and stained the decking and surrounding wood for an economical way to make the old look brand new. This customer also had issues with w**ds relentlessly growing through the south facing lattice, so we replaced all of the old weathered lattice with plywood siding to block light and eliminate w**d issues. Finally to wrap it all up the siding was stained to match the rest of the deck.
