I just finished restoring these doors in my home and I’ve wanted to share this story! Before we began building our home, we bought the family Polson home. So many people and memories are part of our little piece of land and knowing me, I’ve always wanted to incorporate those pieces into my new home.
At the time, I wish I would have taken a better photo of these back French doors before we tore the home down before building ours, but in hindsight, those metal screen doors were able to amazingly preserve the wood doors that were on the home.
As you walk through my front door, you will see these original wood doors from the original house, I custom built out so that these odd shape doors would fit perfectly and look like it was meant to be🚪
As the saying goes, one door closes so another one can open…looking at it differently, maybe you can keep both doors like I did!!
