Getting to work with clients you've known for awhile and care about is more fun! Inspired by Pinterest and a vision, we were allowed to create these built ins for the coming bundle of joy. Thanks for the opportunity to be a part of this blessing and for allowing us to help prepare the nursery. Custom cabinets might be one of our favorite things to do (well at least one of us).

12 pieces of custom doorsteps. The guy at the Lumber store laughed at me when I was trying to match the trim from a 120 year old house. Just have to make them. This house has so much character it would be a shame to just replace things. It's allot of saw dust for 12 x 8' pieces.

This new project is the kind I love! Getting to do restoration on beautiful houses is therapeutic. I've never had to argue with a client, though, about who gets to do which part of the restoration - he wants to do some of the fun stuff! Clients like that are after my own heart. Unfortunately, we have to deal with the lead before restoration can begin.

I want to thank these clients for trusting us with their backyard drainage problems, sprinkler problems, and just a jacked up slope. Honestly I can't think of a more fun way to spend the day than reliving my Tonka truck days as a boy.

Ready for the topsoil and then the sod.

We didn't install this sunroom, but it is from CraftBilt, the same company we are a dealer for here in the Fayetteville, NC area. This was installed over 30 years ago and is still in incredible shape. The seller has spent countless hours in this sunroom, sewing, reading, and hosting friends and family. We needed to only rebuild the wood deck structure underneath and didn't have to even touch the incredible aluminum construction.

So I've been trying to get this one together for quite awhile. I had the pleasure of working on a very special couples house to make their retirement home exactly what they wanted it to be. We spent plenty of time getting the design perfect and started knocking out walls and changing the entire floorplan of the house redesigning the kitchen, expanding the master bedroom, and moving the master bathroom. There is now a pantry, and a new laundry room that no longer has a random toilet in it. Thank you very much to the Korvers for trusting us with this fun project.

When previous people don't know how to paint it makes doing right that much more difficult. We had this wall mudded and almost ready for paint till we saw the tiny bubbles created between the previous paint coats. Only way to do it right was to peel it off and do it again. We don't cut corners. The rest of this job is starting to come together. Loving the way it is turning out. And I've got a friend on the jobsite that just wants to be close and hangout. The clients named her Moonpie.

Our clients bring us smoked chicken for lunch... what do your clients do? We were too excited and didn't get a picture before. This is all that's left.
