BIG CHANGE IS COMING!

I’ve been doing some thinking. Facebook takes a lot of time from me. I don’t always have self control to put it down and stay away from it. I’ve been doing some deep soul searching and I think after 17 yrs of social media Im ready to log off of it for the last time.
Just an hr of social media a day equals a little over 9 40 hr work weeks. Thats a lot of wasted time with family or even just sitting peacefully thinking about how God has blessed us. Not sure if this will be here after I delete all my FB and Instagram accounts but if so we are still wide open and cutting trees!!!

Never never never at least in my opinion pay up front for tree work. Another company cut this tree several months ago. Got paid up front left a mess and never came back.

Its a pain in the tail to clean up after another crew. We have had to do this a couple time. Please do your research and wait till the work is completed to pay.

However, we got a ton of firewood an a couple really nice Oak logs for our sawmill!!

Thank you Lord for blessing us with another amazing week!

While the world is in turmoil and the government at all levels seems as though its against the people it was entrusted to serve we are thankful to be Americans.

While the “Woke folk” are at war with the Freedom that was bought and paid for by the blood, sweat, and tears of our Armed Forces and their families we are still thankful to be Americans.

While evil has vastly increased its scope of operations in this great nation we are still thankful to be Americans.

God we thank you for all the blessings you have bestowed on us. We know the bible says you despise and hate sin. Time and time again the bible tells how you poured out your wrath burning entire cities to the ground and crumbling some of the mightiest nations due to their sinful ways and blasphemy against you. We thank you for your mercy on our wretched sinful souls and for sending your son Jesus Christ to die and pay for our sins so that we may find the hard and narrow path to salvation. We pray that you would show us and all this post reaches that narrow gate and guide us down the narrow path. Give us all a burning desire to live lives pleasing to you and to fulfill the mission you have for our lives. Help us to feel the utmost remorse for our sins so that we continue to repent and strive daily to walk closer to you. Heavenly Father we beg that you give us the strength and courage to be a light for you in this dark world that we may always bring glory to you and give you complete credit for the wonderful blessings we have. Without you Lord we are nothing. In Jesus name we pray, Amen

We all try to hang on to our beloved trees as long as possible. Everything has a life cycle though and when the only thing green on your tree are the vines its time to say goodbye.
The homeowner said this tree was in pictures back in the early days of this beautiful home. It was sad to see it go but glad we could get it down safely before it became a major issue.

We had an absolute blast attending the Labor Crisis event hosted by Dave Ramsey and Mike Rowe last night. Glad Bethany Lamon could go with me. We met some great people and learned a lot about how we as a nation got in the shape we are in as well as how we can begin to fix it.

Where do your trees go when we remove them???

Our first option is to find someone in the vicinity of the job site that wants to utilize the fresh wood chips. However, our favorite thing to do is to bring them back home and let time turn them into this beautiful 100% all natural mulch.

This mulch is great for no till garden method such as the Back to Eden Garden. We strive every day to be good stewards of the trees we remove. God blessed us with such a wonderful resource. Its a shame most tree services and municipalities just hal the debris to landfills.

From the Office to the Trees

That ol’ saying we’ve all heard “ If you love what you’re doing you’ll never work a day in your life!” never seemed within reach for me. I actually thought it was just a myth and a dream. After a little over 8 yrs working at an office job with good benefits and pay I decided it was time for a change. I no longer looked forward to going to work and I knew if I was to change professions I needed to do it while I was still able. I moved home to be closer to the farm and start my quest for my dream job. I had this idea in my head that I wanted a job that was rewarding. I wanted a job that as long as I worked hard and did the best job possible I could continue my way to the top of the ladder. Reality set in that these jobs are few and far between. A lot of workplaces are filled with politics and brown nosing to get to the top. I don’t like being involved in either of those. The opportunity presented itself for me to help a friend trim trees which eventually led to me buying his equipment. After several months of working for myself on the weekends I started to feel that this was the job I’d been waiting for, Stars & Stripes Tree Service LLC was born.
