This one is about wrapped up. Tiling the top and bottom of the floating shelves. The niche is mint! After finishing the niche, I will be tiling the top of the curb then grout, 100% color match silicone caulk for all change of planes (corners); install the trim out for shower valve, handheld, and shower head, then finally the shower door will be reinstalled. This was a Demo and reinstallation due to poor quality. The bottom of the shower was improperly installed, it leaked and caused significant water damage, as well as high and low tile everywhere. Glad I could come in and install a quality shower that will last years to come. Im working my way down my list of jobs sold, and I am almost caught up. I appreciate everyone's patience. I do not sacrifice quality for time. If I rush, mistakes are made, and the job will take longer. I have been grinding the last 6 months. Finally I see an end in sight.

One of the most difficult things to do in tile showers is continuing patterns/"veins" through corners. Your walls must be plumb and flat or it will eventually run off. New construction job out in stedman. Custom shower being installed, then a backsplash. More photos to follow. ,

A little framing in a custom shower! Before the shim kit to flatten the walls and tile board goes up. Preparation for the tile is a key step for ensuring a proper substrate for a tile shower to last! The back if the niche will have a fully bedded piece of waterproof board in thinset to add stregnth to the back wall of the niche. More photos to come!

Large custom shower in a new construction build. 8"×16" large subway tile. Back wall is almost 8 ft, side walls are almost 5 ft. Plenty of room in this curbless A.D.A compliant shower. Herringbone ceiling for a nice custom look. Brick joint ran on the field tile with blue hexigon mosaic ran on the floor. There will be a seamless entry at the doorway of the shower. The master bathroom floor will be the same height as the shower floor so wheelchair access is not an issue. Schluter waterproofing system was used on this shower at the request if the GC. The wall to wall ledge will have a stone solid surface installed today. The small niche will also have a solid surface at the bottom for shaving legs and then tile wrapped around the sides and a deco tile at the back. This one is about wrapped up. All in all I think it came out great!

The front face ofvthe seat as well as the front of the curb match the back wall. The wall tile continues on the seat. Double miters where the rondec schluter meet on the outside corner if the seat. Before and after. New front door was installed (pic of old door is not shown) Door was painted, then the sidelight was changed out to a different style. Her dogs will really like the new windows on the bottom. Sidelight was caulked and will be painted with exterior grade white paint.
